I am pretty sure they are running a scam here. Their website says that they accept Humana insurance. THEY DO NOT!!! Furthermore they state that Humana customers only pay $30 copay. ALSO FALSE!!! When I went to set up an appointment, their system says that I had to pay the full amount like a cash customer, despite having health insurance through Humana. When I called, the phone was answered by some lady who was clearly working out of her house. She had a baby screaming in the background and it was so loud I could barely hear what she was saying. She told me to just pay the full amount and they would file the paperwork with my insurance and I would get a refund. I told her that’s not how co-pays work. She said it was how they did things there. It sounded suspicious, so I called my insurance company. They told me they don’t pay for PlushCare. Human told me that NOT NOW, NOR HAVE THEY EVER HAD PLUSHCARE LISTED AS AN APPROVED PROVIDER. EVER. Even if it was out of network, my insurance would have covered some of it. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT HUMANA INSURANCE. THEIR WEBSITE IS WRONG AND THEY KNOW IT!!!!! Once you pay, and wait for a reimbursement, they have your money and you can’t do ANYTHING about it. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
