Paxful I want action to be taken to stop scams on your platform “NOT JUST WORDS”. I placed two orders on Paxful and both trades weren’t pleasant at all. My second trade was with a trader named “Modern_Cobbler” from “Kenya” who gave me a PayPal ID to send the payment to, once I made the payment I was told they never received the payment. I was told that I sent the payment to the wrong PayPal ID so the trader told me to resend my Payment to a different PayPal ID, I refused to do that. The trader told me to cancel my trade so that they could continue to make other trades on to platform, I refused. I waited 2hrs 15min for the trader to confirm that they in fact did receive my payment that I sent. I did open a dispute on Paxful and no moderator stepped in for the 13hrs the dispute was open. The seller submitted a screenshot of a PayPal refund receipt in the chat showing a 100% FAKE refund had been issued to my PayPal account and I couldn’t verify that the refund had been made even after calling PayPal. I continued to wait for a Paxful moderator that never came to help me and eventually the seller released the crypto into my wallet. This trader clearly tried to scam me out my money, go back and look at our chat log that we had, I laid it all out clearly in the chat what the trader tried to do to me. I scared the trader into releasing my crypto to my wallet and if I had given up and went away I wouldn’t have my money anymore or the crypto I paid for.
