I purchased a few games using Apple Pay. They didn’t deliver. Instead, they wanted me to go through a very weird “verification” process. They required I send them a picture of my license or passport in front of a computer with their website open. They claim that this prevents fraud somehow. I worked in safety and security at a certain Bird site for a few years. That is to say- I know what I’m talking about. Exposing my passport to some random company based in UAE is a VERY bad idea. You don’t know what they will do with this information and it is a huge overstep in your personal privacy.
