On returning our car the girl looked under the boot cover and said the compressor and a bolt was missing. She said it was our responsibility to check on collection. Annoyingly I had taken a video of outside and interior but as I didn’t have luggage to put in boot, didn’t even think of videoing there!We had taken out our own car hire excess insurance so hopefully can claim through that. It does make you wonder that if you don’t take out their insurance cover are you penalized in this way as I know there could never have been those items when we collected car as we were never in there. Seems like scam as where is their responsibility as a company to provide you with evidence it was there when you are asked to prove it wasn’t. Definitely double standards here!!!Girl we dealt with shrugged her shoulders and said some customers are happy and some are not!!
