What a scam!!! BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!! I thought I was booking a reservations directly through the desired hotel itself but no… I was “somehow” on a third party site, unbeknownst to me. Anyhow, a room that was listed for $109 was billed for $110 (not a big deal) but then there was a $52 booking fee added. Ouch!! Not only that, you can cancel or get a refund. They’re very smart too because the charge remains pending until you actually stay there, even though it’s considered a pre-paid reservation, which means you can’t dispute the charge on your credit card because…. it’s pending. Nor, can you cancel it through the hotel because… it’s prepaid. So, you’re in a loop you can’t get out of. No one can help and the reservation company doesn’t want to help you, of course.
