I got a 100$ Vanilla Gift card a few weeks ago, had some problems on the website saying “System error please try again later.” I continued to try to login later without any success. Tried every possible solution, different device, nothing worked. The only solution I thought would be to make a call. After wasting couple hours on listening to pointless cowboy music, they finally responded. Some third world country costumer service talking later. I got a result, to wait 5-10 days to get my replacement card.After 7 days of waiting I finally got it. Through I went straight onto website to activate it, activated it and logged in. Right away I got confused by Walmart purchase being done on 11/3/22 for 50$, on a new card? Brushed it off and went straight to purchase an long waited item. And… again “your bank had declined”, went onto the website of Vanilla, entered the credentials with the result as before “System error…”. I am not going to call again this time.The result of this all is “Do not buy from Vanilla” scammed out of 100$.
