I fell for it!Stole £24.90 out my account using dirty subscription tactics. I searched mymanuals .net for something and it came back they had it and it cost £1.49, I made the purchase to find the manual they said they had was in fact only one section of the manual. I wake up this morning to find an alert on my phone that mymanuals.net has taken a payment for £24.90, it then took a while to find out how to cancel. Once you make your £1.49 payment it automatically signs you up to a subscription and you need to cancel within 3 days.There are no other details on the payment screen page or corresponding emails about subscription just the £1.49 fee, however there is information conveniently hidden half way down the terms and conditions. The fact that 99.9% of people using their service will only ever need one manual says it all. It’s not even like it’s a mistake in error it is flat out fraud when most of us are struggling already we have to deal with companies like this. This is against the law and will be reporting it.
