The percentage of chargebacks when using Stripe is insane. Probably close to 1% at this point, where-as elsewhere it might be .01%. On top of that Strip will NEVER protect you from fraudulent buyers and the banks that allow those buyers to run rampant. For every chargeback, they ask you for proof of delivering the item sold, upon giving them all the information, the banks will always come back in the card holder’s favor and take all your money along with an additional $15 “fee” for the chargeback. Stripe just allows this to happen through their platform. It is a joke. Stay away for your mental health and the health of your wallet.
