Coinbase

    My newly created account remained on hold for about two weeks. Yesterday, I called their support number yesterday to complain about the length of time my account has been on hold, leaving me without the ability to send or receive… I was advised that the hold would be lifted no later than 4 p.m. PST the following day. However, when I logged into my account the following morning, the hold hadn’t been lifted yet, but now the send function is now temporarily disabled for “security concerns.” (Apparently complaining about poor service and being unable to access MY funds for an unreasonably long period is a security issue for Coinbase…). Worst customer service from this borderline scammy company. Avoid learning the costly lesson I learned from signing up with these fraudsters. Steer clear of Coinbase.
