    AGODA Confirmation = meaningless.Booked hotels 2 months prior in busy city. Received Confirmation email PDF and documents.5 days prior to arrival in hotel receive sketchy ‘fraudprevention’ email requesting photographs of my goverment ID and credit card or my reservation would be canceled. Incredibly frustrating and panic a few days before my trip with all hotels and rooms now fully booked in the cityI figured this was a scam however when I called AGODA they confirmed they want this information to be sent. I complained to the girl on the phone only to get a boilerplate robotic response about policy and 0 flexibility. Terrible experience, a terrible intermediary. For the few bucks of savings WAY better to deal directly with the hotel. I’ve had better experiences with expedia and other web agents.I will not be using AGODA again and took time out of my day to warn others to stay clear until they can update their policy and take customer service seriously
