Travoport

I booked a flight that was much cheaper than anything else I could find online. My email confirmation said that this was a reservation and not my actual ticket. I didn’t think anything of it, but was called by a customer service rep not even 24 hours later saying that the airline will likely reject the fare request, and that the funds I paid will not be refunded per the terms. I am now stuck with having to pay the difference for a regular ticket (which is nearly double what I paid) when I could have just found it myself (probably for cheaper than they’re charging me at this point). I explained to the customer service rep that I felt it was unfair that they would keep the funds from me if the airline didn’t honor the request, but she told me that these were the airline’s terms, not theirs. Lies. After trying to sell me more expensive fares and seeing that I wasn’t interested, she told me she would contact the airline to get my request approved. She called me an hour and half later to tell me that it was rejected and that I would have to pay the difference. I don’t even have the option of getting my money back and looking elsewhere. MAJOR SCAM.
