I too fell for the ‘too good to be true’ ‘Cashmere’ jumper on the Leonie Instagram advert expecting the cashmere content to be minimal but I liked the colour and oversized fit/shape of the item on the advert. I received the item last week in XL having sized up as advised. The item is tiny and I can’t touch it without receiving a static shock. There is no labelling for sizing or washing etc. It is obviously a total scam! I immediately contacted Leonie London (or is it OLIVIA Manchester??) After several emails with Julie (Customer Service) who acknowledged the item is not Cashmere as that would make it a lot more expensive – despite clearly advertising this item as ‘Lin-Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater’. They have offered me a 30% refund (on £39.99) and to keep the unusable item or return it to an address in China ensuring that I pay postage and tracking and saying it will be a long time before a refund can be processed. On the package there is a UK returns address.Surely under our Consumer Rights this is unacceptable? Wondering if any other reviewers have had any luck with Trading Standards or other Consumer rights initiatives we need to get this site shut down before we lose any more money!
