UPDATE: I have upgraded my review to 3 stars because Getaroom has refunded our money and cancelled our reservation. It took multiple emails and phone calls to the hotel, priceline and Getaroom. I am glad the company did what was right but I can not give more than 3 stars when they made it such a hassle.What a horrible company!! We found the hotel for $133 per night and selected that room for 2 nights. We filled out our information and selected continue. The next page was a CONFIRMATION for $436.48 plus a resort fee of an additional $22 USD per night paid to the hotel. It is an absolute scam. I thought catfishing was illegal?!?! I immediately phoned the company and spent over an hour trying to get this resolved. They were supposedly “unable” to get a hold of the hotel to cancel. I have sent emails, phoned the hotel, called the company and have gotten nowhere!! The hotel says the booking can be cancelled but it needs to be done by Getaroom and they have yet to respond to correct this situation. What a disaster!! Stay away!!!
