Expedia

    Booked a hotel, requested 2 adults, 1 queen bed, pet friendly. Upon arriving at the hotel we checed in and went to our room. The room had been changed due to Expedia requesting a handicap room which we did not request so in order to accomodate that request we were put in a smaller bed room. The hotel also let us know the room was $119 and not the $145 price Expedia charge and the pet charge at the hotel was $10 and not the $20 Expedia showed. The hotel changed the price on the room for us and didn’t charge for our dog but didn’t have a queen room to move us to as they were booked solid due to college football in that area. We had drove from Ohio to MI to attend a wake for a relative who had passed and after a long day this was very disappointing. I contacted Expedia about their error in booking and the headache it caused but they could only offer $25 refund, not to my credit card but on some rewards account for future booking with them. This was a total insult as I WILL NOT use Expedia ever again. This was fraud at best.
