I booked a room using Agoda. Apparently the date that I selected was not available. Instead of expressing that to me and asking if I wanted to select another date, they just took it upon themselves to book a room at that hotel for the following night. I wasn’t even going to be there. I use the chat feature to try to cancel the room but it’s not really a chat feature. You have to choose from the menu of options that they provide. Cancel or change the date wasn’t among them. I was unable to get in touch with anyone via phone. Basically I just had to pay $169 for a hotel that was never used. Horrible customer service And outright fraudulent. Be warned.
