I ordered from this website which seemed legitimate to begin with. As soon as I received my order confirmation from someone named ‘Mary’ I started to dig a little deeper. The money came out of my account a few days later and there was an unusual name on the statement. The website I ordered from has since disappeared and is now operating under the web address of cathkidston-uk.com. The website also doesn’t look very professional and is full of errors. It seems very basic and the links to social media don’t work. However, I did email the enquiry email address which I did receive personal a reply from. I simple asked if there was an estimated delivery date, which unfortunately there wasn’t. The emails I’ve received are littered with spelling and grammar mistakes and don’t look particularly professional compared to other retail sites. I also contacted my bank and they said to they hadn’t been notified of any other scams from this website. I’ve also been monitoring the tracking website and it does appear that there is a parcel moving through the system. I’d really like this not to be a scam but I can’t help but suspect it is. Time will tell whether I receive my order within the 12-14 days originally stated.
