I was alarmed when the payment reference came through and it was no one I had ever heard of, also that the website popped up with a delivery time of two to three weeks, (not from England then) Contacted my bank immediately, who suggested I contact Craghoppers, Craghoppers are aware of the scam but despite nearly a month passing, facebook have not taken the scam websites down, my bank were exceedingly unhelpful, said they would NOT pull the pending payment, even though I was telling them it was a fraudulent website, despite literally hours of talking to the bank and nocturnal messaging to the bank, they still, still, still,refused to stop the payment… to shut me up, they raised a complaint and said they would make a payment equal to what I had paid into my bank account… this does not resolve the problem, as the scammers are still getting away with ripping people off… I also replaced my bank card and cleared my bank account of funds, but still they are allowing the payment to go through, as it was ‘pending’ the funds have already been taken… Beyond frustrating, shows how little control we actually have over our own money… These scammers seem to have scammed nearly 1million people in one day, my order number was the date followed by 97690**(last two numbers removed) that is the scale of these frauds, so why do the banks want to pay them… feel thoroughly ‘shutdown’ by my bank, and as though the problem has not been solved… I have been ‘mugged’ in my own living room, of my name, address and bankcard details, I have NO expectation that my goods will arrive…
