NEVER BOOKING ONLINE AGAIN!!! I booked a reservation thinking I was on Hampton inn website. Called Hampton inn within 30 minutes to cancel and was told I used a third party. Cancelled immediately and was told no refund would be forthcoming. I was shocked. I was then told I needed a doctors note for my husband’s illness. We can’t afford to pay for absolutely nothing. This is a total SCAM. How is Hampton Inn letting this go on??? I have never tried to deal with a “company” like this. I don’t understand how this is not illegal. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB, looks like the have received many about this horrible practice of basically stealing.
