Booked a hotel in Amsterdam, great price, payment method PayPal possible, so I chose that. Booking confirmation page said I’ll get email confirmation once the payment is finalised. My PayPal is OK, never had any issues so I was sure it’ll be OK. Next day got email from agoda saying that my booking is cancelled due to payment error. I find this very suspect, so googled agoda and found this page. After reading all these reviews I’m relieved that they cancelled. It feels like they are scamming. I’ll look for another company that has good reputation. Grateful to everyone who gave their experience.
