I comply with the previous review. I cancelled my subscription with c-date, which I followed to the letter. I also complained to them that I had been “catfished” by a potential date which had caused me to cancel my subscription. I asked c-date for an acknowlegement of cancellation which I did not get nor any feedback on my potential scammer.About 6 weeks later I started getting demands for outstanding payments which I refuted. I asked for details about the outstanding payments which they couldn’t supply. I copied in c-date to all correspondences which they failed every time to respond to. C-date must have employed these people to try and recuperate outstanding payments from this debt recovery firm, or just sold on their details to a debt recovery firm as they are disgruntled customers.I warned c-date that I had cancelled inline with their policy and that I had not even accessed their website since cancellation, to prove I had not been using their services. I have taken legal advice and have enough evidence to prove I have done nothing wrong. Let the world see if they respond to me through Trip advisor. I am sure this has just been a misunderstanding on their behalf and they will call off the dogs so to speak. Please do not use c-date, all correspondences go to Luxembourg, so they are not even UK based. Hopefully more people will read this and add their experiences onto this thread..
