Confirming everything everyone has written below, in regard to fees and simple transfers. I only used coinbase to transfer funds as a mediary for a different broker. Initial submission of funds took 3 weeks to have a hold taken off of. A hold they won’t allow you to do anything besides trade on their platform. In addition their fees they say are low are actually outrageous. I tested out the system with a small 2k. In doing so they took 100$ in total fees and I was left with 1900 sitting in BTC I didn’t want and couldn’t transfer. I found out it would cost me an additional 30$ to transfer or convert to anything else. As a result, I had downside BTC market risk because I couldn’t do anything else with this broker. Now that the hold is taken off, I am trying to send the money to the original broker I intended and they have another hold, after getting my license and a picture twice. Their reps don’t respond or help.Note to all users, they say Coinbase is one of the biggest Crypto exchanges in the US and it’s a complete and utter scam. SCAM!!!
