The website overall is nice, had few completed deals and had no issue with the staff – guess I’m lucky. Almost been caught by a scammer, if this happens to you just be smarter than him. If you see Kenya, just run. Go on their profile and ignore all the good reviews, I think it can be faked by alt accounts. Take a look at how many people they blocked or how many people blocked them and you’ll have the answer. Paxful should make account creation a bit harder, but it’s mainly your job to be careful.Paxful is legit, signed up few days ago and found out I have balance I forgot about. I withdrew it in external BTC address in matter of seconds – the fee was fair I guess.Personal experience with scammer: sent ~$60 PayPal and waited to receive BTC. I paid the friends & family fee as well and provided the screenshot to the seller. He then sent me a screenshot showing he only received $58 claiming I didn’t pay the fee. (Inspect element, edit amount, lvl 1 scammer). And he wanted me to cancel the deal and open another one for $58. But if I cancel the deal in that moment, I would’ve lost all the money. It’s his job to close the deal After he confirms. Told him to refund me and then I open another deal, then he came with random excuses. He finally released the BTC and I got paid. It was my first trade, pretty good scam to catch beginners, I’m sure he was doing good with other people. You guessed right, he was Kenyan!
