Mobatrade

This site is a complete scam. Do not deposit any money!!After making a minimum deposit of USD256 online I noticed that I could not call the brokers. They were using virtual disposable numbers. Email is the only way to contact an account manager (I’ve had four in two months while trying to get my deposit back). The excuse is that to have a UK telephone number is too expensive for the company. This rang alarm bells and I asked for my deposit back.Suddenly the scam upped its game and my “investment” went from USD526 to USD15.5K (no trade orders showed how this increased amount was arrived at, rather a USD15K “credit” was placed in the account minutes before the telephone call) and to release this fantastic gain I would have to pay 15% capital gains fee (£2,000) to Mobatrade and then they would release the “USD15.5k”. They couldn’t deduct it and pay the net proceeds! My battle to have my deposit returned continues.I say again, this is a scam. Once they have your money it is unlikely you will get it back. The warning signs are there.(1)The deposit is taken via another company’s payment portal.(2)Account Managers can only be contacted by email.(3) Mobatrade does not have a UK licence although the office according to their website is registered at 1 Cabot Square, London E14 4QJ. I will be paying a visit to this address, but believe it is a false address, because Companies House does not show this business at this address.
