I wanted to ship a bottle of perfume only available in the US for my girlfriend’s birthday. Ordered the bottle three weeks in advance. The products was received by MyUs and got in my queue, day after day. I contacted customer service a few times without satisfaction. The package got stuck for six weeks before they found it. Needless to say I didn’t have it for the birthday. They didn’t apologise for anything. Then I was charged 60$ for the shipping to Europe, ie 3 times the lowest quote on the site. Turns out: 1/ when you select MyUs preferred shipping method, they don’t give you the lowest quote, 2/ they mark up the shipping quote, 3/ they automatically add 8$ of insurance and if you don’t opt out, 4/ they add 20$ of “dangerous goods handling” for perfume (like seriously), and 5/ if you have a simple account, they automatically charge you when the package is ready.They were completely unapologetic and unhelpful when dealing with them andimmediately sent me a cancellation link upon expressing desire to cancel my account (they must be used to it). To top it all off, it takes 5 or 6 clicks to cancel an account, and you need to answer alternatively yes and no to their questions, and the “right” button is always discreet in black while there is a massive green button to stay on site. Typical scam website. I can’t believe they get away with a rating like they have, alternatives used since take so much better care of customers and inform them of the full cost ahead (and don’t lose packages in their own warehouses…).
