I booked a car that (thankfully, I THINK) allowed me to cancel within 48 hours of the reservation. I got a confirming email that I had PAID (I had) and then at the same time an email came saying I had canceled (I HAD NOT) and telling me a refund would be sent to me. Feels like a total scam where they hit my card for a car price they couldn’t stand behind (it was low) and then refunding my money, allowing themselves to hold the funds for several days.
