I purchased goods at the Odlo store in Innsbruck then took my documentation to the Innsbruck Tourist Office to receive my tax refund as a cash payment. When I left Austria via Innsbruck Airport, I had my documentation stamped and placed the documents in the Global Blue letter box beside the Customs desk. Five and half weeks later, Global Blue charged my credit card for the amount of the cash refund plus their processing fee. Having sent Global Blue the documentation, I now have no evidence of the transaction and no reference number to follow-up.Avoid this company at all costs. They are effectively running a scam against tourists visiting the EU.
