They are thieves. They should be in jail for defrauding users of tens of thousands of dollars. They are criminals!First of all they “spoof” the hotel website. You think you are on the hotels website but you’re not. They show photos of the hotel but it’s fake — you’re on GetARoom not the hotel’s website. Total fraud! Then they give you a room rate but they don’t tell you they add another 50% to the rate for service charge. Then they send you a receipt that has been altered. It’s a fake receipt that does not show the extra charges. Interestingly they even sent this fraudulent, deliberately altered receipt to American Express. Unbelievable!Then they have a completely fraudulent cancellation policy. When I made the reservation at 8:15 California time it was already past 10 am Chicago time. Complete fraud!I was billed over $700 for one night at Holiday Inn Express in Austin. GetARoom only paid $129. They ripped me off for almost $600! Priceline owns GetARoom. They condone, permit and approve this deliberate and complete fraud. They are equally guilty and should be avoided. Both GetARoom AND Priceline say that YOU AGREED to this outrageous fraud!
