I just puschased a really nice domain name for about 5 $. A SECOND later got refunded. The domain is still listed as avaible for purchase but I just can’t buy it, it says alreay bought by someone else AFTER add it in cart and press order confirmation button. I susptect their system just auto grabbed as the domain name is pretty premium and must worth a lot more than 5$. I just feel I got scammed by Namecheap. Update: They contacted me via email and told me it’s a bug and that doiman it’s not actually available for registration since 2004. So I was wrong but only because I did not know such bugs would exist in their service. Or anywehre else. So a taken domain appears to be free for registration on Namecheap. That’s it.
