opened an account with oxford-wise. io they called me back from 02030054888 by someone called Amy. I asked for the listed company number, registered company address and name of CEO. She gave a generic London address that didn’t show up online or google maps and no affiliation to a company with that name trading there. When I pressed for company number she hung up and no answer when I called back. Then I went on Live chat and asked the same questions. They gave a fake company number that didn’t show up on Dunn&bradstreet, which every listed company is issued with a D-U-N-S number. Then gave a different fake address in London, which again nothing listed on google maps. Then said the trading name was Oxford Properties Management UK limited but I assume they made this up to give the impression they’re a legitimate company. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. I dug a little deeper and the web address was only activated 16/11/2022 – I have reported it to Action fraud.
