Zero stars would be appropriate. I booked a fully refundable reservation of 5 days (reference# attached) at Dallas Market Center Holiday Inn. When the confirmation email came it was for the wrong dates the days were correct but the month was not. Called placed on hold for 2 hours, transferred then dropped. After 2 days of trying finally got a person who stated it would be know problem to cancel and rebook. After quite a while on the call she informed me that there would be a cancelation fee of 1 night plus fees of $165 per the policy. I immediately checked the website that clearly stated fully refundable if canceled by a certain date at noon which was more than 2 months away. However the confirmation email with the erroneous reservation information had a different cancelation policy of the 1 day plus fees. I was on the phone for nearly 2 hours only to be informed that they would issue issued a refund minus the $165 fee. It is clear to me that GETAROOM.COM willfully engages in deceptive and possibly fraudulent actions for financial enrichment purposes. I am considering a class action lawsuit but will definitely be contacting the New York State Attorney General’s Office and referring them to my case along with the numerous simillar complaints on this site and others. MY ADVICE NEVER USE GETAROOM.COM.
