I am on a dating service as a woman and I will not go out to meet someone until I know his name and phone number. Once I verify everything in Spokeo, I have more confidence that this is not a scam artist or fake profile. I can then do a deeper dive through Google, Facebook, etc. The problem with any site that provides info like this is that anyone can delete themselves from this sight so that a search will come up empty, but that is not something that should be held against Spokeo.
