Company emailed me and asked me to deposit £6,800 verify my crypto wallet. They seemed genuine and had all my financial details.A woman purporting to be Jennifer Lancaster, Blockchain Billing Team, said my funds would be transferred in 40 mins but funds not received and it’s been 3 days, and now they are not responding to emails or texts.I feel sick – they literally took all my money. To note, I am disabled and have a heart condition – these scammers are disgusting!Update: Allegedly my funds are being blocked by George Purnell, head of billing at Blockchain under Anti-Money Laundering regulations, pending transfer of a further £5k to release them. I have contacted Blockchain Customer Services, Blockchain CEO (Peter SMith), Blockchain Co-founder (Nic Cary) but have not received any responses.Reported to FCA, Police and my bank fraud team, all of whom tell me this is a scam.
