Does not do enough to protect freelancers from scammers and criminals. Had someone come up to me wanting to advertise some stuff on eBay, claiming I can make £500 in a week. Then asked me to email him outside if people per hour for more details…wanting me to list farming equipment that can sell for £4,000 or more.Looked up the business he was with and found them on companies house, turns out he had been terminated from the company back in 2021…as soon as I told him all agreements and payment has to be done through people per hour, the user profile disappeared and the proposal was withdrawn…Either he wanted to scam me or he was handling stolen goods from the company he worked for…either way, I do not want to end up being arrested for handling stolen goods.Sadly, there is no report button to make people per hour aware of this, so I am wondering now whether it is actually safe to continue using this site, or if it is just a hot bed for scammers and criminals.Please be aware if you want to use this site
